23 years and I'm officially finished at reflections hair and beauty 🫶
Thank you to everyone who has popped into see me for a hug and brought me flowers and cards. I'm truly blown away with everything ones support 🫶 thank you so much.
I didn't cry either 😂

💔🫶💔 I'm entering my last week of being at reflections and it's extremely emotional I can't being to explain how I feel right now. I came to His and Hairs at just 18 years old and work for the lovely Sandra Brewster then after two years the lovely wonderful amazing lady came to take over Michelle came and I honestly thought no way can we work together 😂 But we did! For an amazing 12 years she seen both my kids come into the world seen me get married and become the next owner of the salon 💔💔💔 We obviously know the reasons Michelle had to sell the salon and it was an extremely difficult time for everyone. I told her I was changing the name to reflections and she was really pleased I was putting my stamp on it. Sadly not long after me taking over the salon Michelle lost her battle to cancer and I'd never felt more frightened in all my life because she was the one I'd go to for support and advise to do with the salon. I did luckily have amazing family and friends and obviously all of my amazing clients who have also

What a transformation this was 🔥🔥
So unfortunately I didn't take the before pictures 🤦♀️
So this lovely young lady came with red hair and wanted to go more natural so I colour stripped it first....
then I had to put more bleach on to give it a little more of a boost as the red just went pink 🤦♀️ after the second lot it lifted to a lovely orange 😂 as it does.
I then went in with few foils and nxt 5.71 chocolate ash brown and what a transformation it was 🔥🫶
This is why I love doing what I do 🫶

So where do I start..... I've got some exciting news but also extremely sad so it's a bitter sweet really. I've had to make probably one of the biggest decisions of my life and I've cried and cried, I'm going to be relocating salons I'm staying local but unfortunately I can't carry on with the salon anymore as it's costing me to much money to keep going. I don't want to keep increasing my prices so this is the better option for us all. I'm absolutely heartbroken after 23 years at the salon my time is coming to an end at 87 Derby road but I'm not going far I'm going to join the lovely girls at Vida nova on quarry road somercotes/leabrookes. I really hope I keep you all and you'd love to follow me but I also understand if you don't. I'll be speaking to everyone over the next few weeks anyway just to reassure you all this is for the best and the salon is absolutely beautiful you'll all love it as much as I do. I really hope you all understand my last day at the salon will be 13th may. This isn't the end it's

It's with great sadness I write this post but unfortunately Eillen passed away on Wednesday 💔I'm absolutely devastated as we all will be who new what a wonderful person she was 🫶
